Q. Where do you see the industry going?

With an increased focus on quality of life and sustainability initiatives, more and more organizations are looking for technology enabled ways to support these initiatives. Given what we have experienced in the last year, these trends have only been magnified and we will see a lot of focus and growth in this arena for years to come.

Q. What is your specialty / claim to fame / best known career accomplishment?

I was lucky enough to grow the AIR MILES Program in Canada and build a global company focused on helping retailers and other service organizations to understand the value of consumer data, insights and relevant marketing as a way to better connect companies to their customers

Q. Why are you working with Optimity?

Companies need to focus more on wellness in all its forms and how they can support our community, our customers and our employees on this journey. Optimity provides an elegant way to complete that circle of opportunity in an engaging manner.

Q. Examples of other success stories you have worked with?

I have been involved with loyalty and retail analytics start-ups in North America, India, Brazil and Europe but I feel my greatest influence has been on growing the appreciation and adoption of loyalty programs and customer analytics with some of North America and Europe's biggest retail and financial institutions.

Q. What are the most exciting thing to happen over the next quarter / year?

Hopefully we can share a glass of wine in a lively restaurant with friends, colleagues and clients! On the business front, I am very interested to see how the landscape changes as we emerge from the chaos of the last 13 months. Where will things like work from home or e-commerce settle and what will emerge as the "next normal". How this shapes new approaches to retail or to how we engage customers will be exciting and I believe will kick-start our economy in the process.

Q. What expertise are you bringing to Optimity?

Retail and Consumer centric strategies and some good old fashioned advice on running a rapidly growing business.

I love the energy of the team and the dynamic way Optimity evolves the product based on customer feedback.
